About The Practitioner

Samantha Peppard is a Registered Acupuncturist who graduated from the 3,375 hour, four year ‘Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine’ program and is a proud alumni of the highly accredited, Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences, since 2005.

The program included a four month internship which Samantha chose to do at the first Chinese Medicine clinic in British Columbia dedicated to reproductive health and fertility.

In December of 2007, Samantha’s education was enriched by a trip she made to Nan Jing, China. Samantha had the privilege to complete an advanced clinical training program through the Nan Jing University of Chinese Medicine; this entailed working full time for two and a half months at three different hospitals in Nan Jing, each hospital provided extensive exposure to TCM and demonstrated the scope of applications for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Samantha has been fascinated by health and wellness since she was a small child, but her interest in Chinese Medicine began with her first love, whole foods. She worked as a chef for over ten years and was inspired by the powerful role food played in supporting good health. This passion for nutrition, and a desire to be able to support those in need of education around attaining health, led her to pursue complimentary health and ultimately, Chinese Medicine.

Since 2001, Samantha has dedicated herself to the lifelong journey of expanding her knowledge in the very rich culture and tradition of Chinese Medicine, a medicine that she feels deserves great respect, simply due to the success that Traditional Chinese Medicine has had as a healing modality for over three millennia.  It truly works!

I feel that by supporting the internal harmony of each patient, I can help them experience a better quality of life.  I believe in, and I am committed to, the far-reaching effects of complete care.” – Samantha
